Tiny loose skinned orange with thin peel and tangy red-orange flesh. Easy to peel and usually with few or no seeds.
High in vitamin C. Sweet and juicy, with concentration of orange flavors.
Mostly eaten fresh. Clementine, which have become popular in the United States recently are often sold in small wooden boxes around the holiday season.
They grow best in Mediterranean climates, and Spain is the major producers.
